Robert F. Moore of Long Grove, IL, longtime resident of Mt. Prospect, IL passed away peacefully following a courageous battle with cancer. He was the loving husband of Lois Jean Moore for 65 years; father of Patricia (the late Bobby) Ratliff, Carole Moore, Robert J. (Carol) Moore and Susan (Jeffrey) Gray; cherished grandfather Robert (Natalie) Ratliff, John Ratliff, Marcella Bisesi, Maggie Bisesi, Robert (Shanna) Moore, Jeffrey (Jackie) Moore, Jonathon (Ashley Janann) Moore, Catherine Gray and Megan Gray; great grandfather of Caden Moore; fond uncle of his nieces and nephews.
Bob graduated from St. Patrick High School in Chicago, St. Mary’s College in Winona, MN and DePaul University School of Law, Chicago. He was a partner at Moore & Meersman, the Village Manager of Mt. Prospect, Vice President and Trust Officer of Wheeling Trust and Savings Bank/Cole Taylor Bank and CFO of Semmerling Fence.
Bob had a wonderful sense of humor and was the perfect family man, always involved with his children and grandchildren’s lives. He was an avid sportsman, trained and owned race horses, loved to fish and golf.

Visitation Monday November 6, 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. at St. Raymond de Penafort Church, Elmhurst Rd. (Rt. 83) and Lincoln St., Mt. Prospect, IL 60056.
